Tuesday of California was founded in 2015 by designer Tuesday Bassen as an extension of her illustration work depicting tough, independent women in dominant positions. Though we got our start with a vibe that was "easy rider meets slumber party," we've grown up with our customer base and joke that we outfit the "post-punk to librarian pipeline." It's funny, but it's true. We strive to produce clothing in a manner that would make zine-fest era us proud, by using fair manufacturing and local materials.

We paused production in 2023 for an international move, but we're back for the 10 year anniversary of the brand, with a new chapter based and produced in Berlin, Germany.

We remain a small, independent, family run brand and are proud to produce sizes XXS-7X. To achieve our lofty goals of remaining independent, using fair production, and size inclusive, we work on a preorder basis to cut down on waste.
