Frequently asked questions

Please direct all rants, raves, and questions regarding Tuesday of California or your order to support@shoptuesday.com, where we’ll do our best to get back to you as soon as possible. We answer emails during 10-3, Central European Time.

As of spring 2025, we only use materials produced in the EU, with an emphasis on deadstock materials. All of our production also takes place in the EU, with our primary workshop in Berlin, Germany.

Pre-orders and Returns

Pre-orders help us produce our thirteen piece size run and take around 3 months to make. Three months might seem like a long time, but that's actually quite short considering all of the human hands that make each piece! 

As each piece is made custom to order, we cannot accommodate any refund requests. However, if you feel like you might prefer something else instead, just email support@shoptuesday.com and we can help facilitate store credit for another piece. 

We make sizes XXS-7X, all on a preorder basis. Our plus sizing was designed to be consistent with major American plus sized retailers, but please double check our size chart before ordering. If we do not carry your size, but would like to order something, please reach out to us and we can discuss what is possible.

We ship all over the world from our Berlin studio!

We partner with a service that relies on your local postal service. We send it to them and they send it to you! We are excited to offer free shipping worldwide on all orders over 150 euros, but you can opt for express shipping if you'd prefer that, as our free shipping can take a bit of time.

Customs and import duties may be applied to your order when it reaches its destination. Tuesday of California is not responsible for these fees, as annoying as they are! Should you need to make an exchange or return for store credit, the customer is responsible for international shipping fees. However, if you're in the US or Canada, you can elect to list your item in our resale site instead.

How do I track my order?

Tracking information sent in shipment notification emails may take up to 2 business days to update with current location. Depending on where you are in the world, your tracking may not update beyond the origin scan. If your domestic shipment info hasn't been updated within 2 business days of receiving your tracking number, please feel free to hit us up at support@shoptuesday.com.

Should you need to make an exchange or return for store credit, the customer is responsible for international shipping fees.

However, if you're in the US or Canada, you can elect to list your item in our resale site instead.

  • You have 15 days to email a request after your item has been delivered.
  • As your item is custom made, we only accept returns for store credit or exchanges.
  • You have 5 days once you receive an email back from us to put your item in the mail in unwashed, unworn condition in the original polybag.
  • We reserve the right to charge a processing fee on returned goods that must be folded, re-tagged, lint rolled, steamed or re-bagged.
  • You will not be held accountable for any delays that occur after your item is in the hands of the mail.
  • Sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • All return requests must be made via email at support@shoptuesday.com
