Take Out in LA (and Surrounding Areas)
Tuesday-
Hui Tou Xiang- (Arcadia) My fav dumpling spot! I like to order...basically everything because it's all about BLACK VINEGAR! I sit in my car dunking dumps as soon as I get my order.
Woon- (Historic Filipinotown) The veggie noodles are my go-to AND THEY ALSO HAVE TAKE HOME plain noods for you to do what you will with them.
Alanberto’s- (San Bernardino) Unreal tortillas. Perfect, chewy, fresh tortillas and high quality meat or so I’m told, I get the bean burrito consistently. Drive thru!
Ali-
Pa Ord Noodle- (Hollywood) My favorite takeout right now is from Pa Ord Noodle. I like to get the crispy pork and broccoli with pad see ew. If I could sit in a restaurant right now I'd love to be in Murakami eating a sunshine bowl with garlic soy sauce before going to a movie. They are doing takeout though, so I'll survive.
Josh-
Chengdu Taste- (Alhambra & Rowland Heights) Braised Pork Hock, Dry Fried Intestine or Chicken if you’re a coward, Boiled Fish with Green Pepper Sauce.
Mr. Bossam- (Koreatown & Rowland Heights) - Green Onion Bossam
Cluck2Go- (Pasadena, Rowland Heights, Hacienda Heights & Diamond Bar) Dark Meat Only Hainan Chicken Rice.
Ding’s Garden- (Pasadena, Rowland Heights, Arcadia, Irvine & San Gabriel) Pan Fried Dumplings, Cold Mixed Plate, Beef Noodle Soup
Crystal-
Millie’s Cafe- (Silverlake, Pasadena) The Heavenly Hash is my go-to order here! Perfectly salty and crispy, pairs well with two cups of black coffee. 🖤
Randy’s Donuts- (Inglewood) There are no wrong answers when it comes to donuts but my all time favorite Randy’s donut is the blueberry iced cake!
Carneys Restaurant- (Hollywood) They have amazing burgers and fries but my go-to is a polish dog, split and grilled, smothered in mustard and grilled sauerkraut.
Vivian-
Carousel Restaurant- (Hollywood, Glendale) Get the veggie entree plate or anything really! Nice when you have vegetarians or meat lover to feed, and baklava is a must!
Dhat Creole Grill- (Riverside) Get the jerk chicken entree 🥵and the fresh beignets that melt in your mouth. also great plant based options.
Slurpin Ramen Bar- (Koreatown, Buena Park, City of Industry) Tonkotsu (pork broth ramen mmm) <3
Blessed Tropical Jamaican Cuisine (Inglewood) Again, cannot skip the jerk chicken and plantains for sure. Make sure you have your water ready to go with this!
